Samuel S. Sensabaugh was a farmer and served in the Confederate Army, Company H, 25th VA Infantry.
He and his wife, Adaline, are buried in the Alone Cemetery (Bethany Lutheran Church cemetery) at the junction of Route 602 and 525 in Rockbridge County, VA.

John H. Welch was a Civil War veteran, serving in Company E, 31st Regiment, Indiana Volunteers. He was mustered out at Terre Haute, IN as a Lientenant. His Civil War pension application states that after being discharged he lived for 6 years in Indiana, 2 years in Ohio, 22 years in West Virginia, and the balance in Virginia.
In his later years, he served as a Justice of the Peace for Rockbridge County, VA.
John H., his wife Mary Ellen, and one of their sons, Harry E., are buried in the Ebenezer Methodist Church cemetery at Rockbridge Baths, Rockbridge County, VA.
[NI0091] George W. Conner is buried in the New Monmouth Presbyterian Church cemetery in Rockbridge County, VA. He was a Private in Company B, 1st Rockbridge Artillery, CSA, during the Civil War.

I believe this Dennis Conner is buried at the Collierstown Presbyterian Church cemetery at Collierstown, Rockbridge County, VA. Dennis was a member of the 25th VA BN Reserves during the Civil War.
Also buried there is Loretta M. Conner, died 9 Dec 1894, aged 27 yrs who I have not identified yet. She may be the same as Lizzie M., and a daughter of the above Dennis. Both are buried in unmarked graves.
[NI0098] Both Henry Clay and his wife, Sarah Jane, are buried in unmarked graves in the House Mountain cemetery. Henry Clay "Harry" was a Private in the 1st Rockbridge Artillery, CSA, during the Civil War.
